Crow King was a Hunkpapa Sioux warrior who fought Custer at the Little Bighorn. After that fight, he traveled with Sitting Bull into Canada. He held out until 1881 before returning to America and surrendering. After giving up his weapons he asked a Chicago TIMES correspondent for two dollars so he could buy
dolls for his daughters.
