"Whether the approach is conceptual, minimalist, classical or painterly, contemmporary sculpture can take many directions. My work is based on contemplation of the human form, its spirit and its strenghth. The sculptures explore the dramatic, compositional forces of the body using the elements of structure, positive and negative space, balance and mass.
The nudes are nonsexual, non-narrative in nature and always portray the figure with power and focus. Scale ranges from small to monumental.
